Remote Express Deposit

While electronic forms of payment such as check cards are becoming more and more popular, paper checks are still a reality for most businesses. With Remote Express Deposit1, you can scan and deposit these checks electronically from the convenience of your office — allowing you to reduce expenses, improve cash flow, eliminate trips to the bank, and consolidate bank accounts.

  • Reduce costs and save valuable personnel and travel time with fewer trips to the bank
  • Make same day deposits until 6:00 p.m. ET
  • Reduce paperwork related to deposits
  • Reconcile accounts quickly through immediate e-mail notification of deposits
  • Simplify recordkeeping with an online archive of all scanned images, deposit information and reports
  • Consolidate deposits into a single bank account regardless of your location's distance from a branch or ATM

The version of Remote Express Deposit you will use is based on the number of items per deposit your business currently makes.

Install software solution

301 items or more per deposit
Due to the high number of items per deposit, we will provide software to install on your computer. Using an approved check scanner2, you will quickly scan the paper checks. Easy-to-follow, on-screen prompts will lead you through balancing and transmitting your deposit.

Online solution

300 items or fewer per deposit
You will make deposits through our online solution in the Business Banking Center on our website. Using an approved check scanner2 or your flatbed scanner, you will scan your paper checks. The online system will then lead you through the deposit process. This solution is ideal for businesses with multiple locations. Each location can make deposits remotely yet all deposit activity and reporting can be viewed centrally through our website.

System Requirements: Remote Express Deposit is designed for use on a PC with an approved scanner. The online solution is certified to work best in Internet Explorer versions 9 and higher.
